Associate QA Engineer

Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Develop and coordinate test plans from requirements, use cases and design documents
- Will be responsible for working multiple projects at any given time.
- Utilize defect tracking system to track and report defects
- Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
- Utilizes testing scripts to run program to verify functionality. Identifies shortfalls and suggests improvements.
- Working knowledge of ORCC products with exposure to DB schema and table structures.
- Work one on one with developers and/or QA lead/manager to thoroughly understand product functionality.
- Clearly understands the purpose, objectives, practices and procedures of the position.
- Attend project meetings for area of responsibility and serve as cross-functional liaison
- Enter time into billing application on a daily basis and submits weekly timesheets
- Provide status of projects weekly
- Provide input into QA process improvements.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Work Location: India – Bangalore

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 years in a QA environment
Highly Desired Qualifications
Experience with QA automation using open source, shell scripting and other industry leading tools, would be added Advantage
