Skills Required Must:

• Installation, configuration & patching of SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 in clustered and non-clustered environment
• Experience in automating the process of Installation, Deployment and Patching of SQL Server binaries and databases.
• Upgrading SQL Server version from 2000, 2005, 2008 to 2012
• Administration and Security management of databases
• Backup and restore of databases
• Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of SQL Server log shipping.
• Disaster Recovery & High Availability (Failover Clustering) features
• Working knowledge of SQL Server reporting services.
• Monitoring & Performance tuning of SQL Server/databases
• Organise / perform support and trouble shooting for SQL Server and products
• Replication, Mirroring and knowledge of setting up Remote Blob Storage
• Good Basic working knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012

Desirable:

• Oracle 10g/11g database administration
• Integration, Analysis, Notification services.
• Heterogeneous DB Migration between Oracle and SQL Server
• SharePoint SQL database administration
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux Operating Systems
