Job Description
We are seeking a Web Server Administrator to perform system administration, application coordination and user support for web applications in Bechtel’s Project Services Network
1+ years of experience in deploying, administering and maintaining web server environments consisting of at least 100 users.
The experience should include administration and management of one or more of the following technologies: IIS, Linux, Apache or SharePoint or knowledge of scripting languages (HTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript, JQuery)
Excellent skills in high traffic web site operations, administration, pro-active maintenance and problem solving skills to ensure optimal working and performance of the websites.
Microsoft, Linux or Apache oriented certifications are a plus
Should possess the following non-technical attributes:
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills to coordinate work assignments with colleagues distributed across multiple time zones.
Self-directed with a proactive approach to resolving support issues and is comfortable working with limited on-site supervision.
Well developed troubleshooting and customer support skills, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
Good oral and written communications skills
Education
BS in Computer Science, MIS, CIS , Computer Engineering, or related technical field of study is preferred
