Job Description
Reporting to the Team/Technical Leader, the Trainee Software Engineer actively participates in the learning and building of self-knowledge on EMI websites/applications.
The role includes hands-on development, testing and maintenance/support
Required Skills
IT/software skills:
The following experience / skills are highly desirable:
Fresh graduates with good academic records.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good aptitude with self-learning and exploring technologies.
Good in logics and algorithm skills.
Good in OOPs programming knowledge.
Having a training experience on different Microsoft technologies (like C#, ASP.NET, WPF, WWF, WCF / WEB API), HTML5, JavaScript would be a great plus.
Knowledge/Experience of the following is advantageous (any or most):
Entity Framework, CSS, ASP.NET-AJAX controls, ASP.NET MVC, JQuery, XAML, XML, XSLT, AngularJS/KnockoutJS .
SDLC, Agile methodologies (Scrum).
T-SQL statements, stored procedures and functions in SQL Server 2008 or above.
Knowledge of relational database design.
Ecommerce web application with a shopping cart process.
Other skills:
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness or attitude to work on any technologies or any EMI Products.
Self-motivation and drive to take on personal responsibility.
Attention to detail.
