Job Description
The Software Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
1. Should have extremely good concepts on Electrical Power systems and electrical basics
2. Should have actively programmed in C/C++ under Unix/Linux environment and is expected to be practically conversant with the most commonly used libraries. The candidate will have to be hands-on and will be required to solve complex programming requirements. Also the candidate should have good understanding of software development life cycle
3. Should have working knowledge of Relational Databases
4. Should have working knowledge on any scripting language in Linux/Unix environment
Qualifications/Requirements
1. B Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech in Electrical sciences or Power systems from reputed institutes
2. Good knowledge on Power systems
3. Good knowledge in c/c++ code
4. 1-2 years of experience in C/C++ programming under Linux/Unix environment
5. Ability to work in a group environment as a team player and be flexible with product change requests.
6. Solid communication skills (oral & written)
