Job Description
The PE Web developer is responsible to identify and use proprietary and leading edge technologies, development practices, web standards and interactive displays to effectively manage and promote Markit On Demand’s position as a leader in the design, delivery and management of financial services industry web sites. Developers are responsible effective time management and the communication necessary to maintain a collaborative team environment that will delight Markit On Demand’s clients.
Education and experience
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
Ability to develop full-scale web based applications with .NET/C#
Experience with object-oriented principles and development patterns like MVC
Solid understanding of client-side development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience utilizing javascript frameworks like jQuery
