Role Summary

Reports to: SVP Security Practice
As a Security Analyst, you will have an exciting opportunity to participate in the massive growth market of Mobile and Service Provider security.
The role is based in India.
Working with in Security Practice team, reporting to the SVP Security Practice.

Responsible for:

Security Research
Spam & Threat Signatures
Security Analysis Toolsets
Local customer support
Remote support to customers in adjacent market territories (LatAm, APAC & Europe)

Essential Skills / Attributes

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant equivalent
Strong understanding of Unix and Windows Operating System
Strong Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Bash shell)
Mash-up creation
Forensic analysis & research
Must be dynamic, self-starter
Strong conceptual understanding of data communications infrastructure desired
Strong collaborative team player, working closely with local Operations and Sales teams
Must be able to build strong relationships with customers
Ability to understand and maintain creditability with both technical and commercial audiences
Strong English written communication skills
Ability to research new tools and systems (Open Source and Commercial) and assess suitability to the departmental function.
Hands-on and results-oriented with integrity and impeccable character

Education

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant equivalent
