Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
* Use the world's most powerful network management tools to maintain and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.
* Innovate and develop systems and processes to isolate errors, discern trends, and diagnose complex operations issues.
* Ensure platform components and features meet Service Performance requirements for safe and efficient operation.
* Respond to incidents and participate in the development of improvements to prevent them.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Proficient in Linux environment
* Proficient in python, bash, perl or similar scripting language
* Working knowledge of SQL
* Familiar with C/C++/Java
Desired Qualifications
* Proficient in distributed infrastructure monitoring
* Familiar with RDBMS's, e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
* Familiar with MapReduce frameworks and related infrastructure, e.g. Hbase, Hive, etc.
Education
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
